- {Make ready 1 cup of urad dal.

Instructions to make Dal makhani:
- Put the washed pulse in a cocker add salt (as per taste), 1 tablespoon cooking oil and a small piece of gur now add 4-5 glasses of water. Cook it on high flame upto 1 whistle and then cook it on low flame for 45-50 mins..
- Keep a pan on low flame then add 2-3 tablespoon cooking oil, add jeera and cook till they pop. Now once this is done add chopped onion and cook until golden brown now add chopped tomatoes..
- To prepare masala mix in a bowl add 1teaspoon kitchen king masala, 1teaspoon garam masala, 1teaspoon ginger garlic paste, 1teaspoon degi mrich and add 1/2 cup of water and give it a good mix your masala mix is ready.
- Now in the tadka add the masala mixture prepared and cook for 3-5 mins. Now add 1/2 cup cream/ malai and stir nicely..
- After 45-50 mins check the cooked pulse and add into the tadka now mix really well and let it boil for 5-7 mins. And your DAL MAKHNI is ready to serve. #Dal.
