The ingredients needed to make Dal Makhani:
- {Take 2/3 cup of black urad dal.
- {Take 1/4 cup of kidney beans.
- {Prepare 1 of cardamom.
- {Make ready 1 of cinnamon.
- {Prepare 2 of cloves.
- {Take 1 tsp of oil.
- {Make ready 1 tsp of butter.
- {Make ready 1 tsp of cumin seeds.

- {Get 1 tsp of ginger garlic paste.
- {Take 1 tsp of haldi/ turmeric powder.
- {Take 1 tsp of red chilli powder.
- {Prepare To taste of salt.
- {Make ready 1 tsp of garam masala.
- {Get 1 tsp of cumin coriander powder.
- {Make ready 20-25 gms of butter.
- {Make ready 1 tsp of fresh cream.
Instructions to make Dal Makhani:
- Soak whole black urad dal and kidney beans for 7-8 hours..
- Then pressure cooker it for 6-7 whistles by adding salt, cardamom and cinnamon. Heat oil and butter in a pan add cumin seeds and let it sputter for few seconds..
- Add onion puree and stir it well. Now add all the above mention spices to it and glass of water and stir continuously till oil separate from it. Now add boiled dal to it and mix it well..
- Now close dal with the lid and let it cook on low flame for 10-15 mins. Switch off the gas and finally add fresh cream, butter and coriander to it and mix it well..
- Dal Makhani is ready to serve it..
