The ingredients needed to make Dal makhani:
- {Get 1 bowl of Urad Dal.
- {Take 1/2 bowl of Rajma( kidney beans).
- {Prepare 1 of Tomato medium size.
- {Get 1/2 tsp of Cumin seeds.
- {Prepare 1/2 tsp of turmeric powder.
- {Make ready 1 tsp of Coriander powder.
- {Prepare 1 tsp of Coriander leaves chopped.
- {Take 1 tsp of Red chilli powder.
- {Take To taste of Salt.
- {Make ready 1 tsp of Garam masala.
- {Take 1 tsp of Mustard oil.
- {Make ready 2 tsp of butter.
Instructions to make Dal makhani:
- Soak urad dal and rajma in water for 4 hours. now remove soaked urad dal and rajma in the pressure cooker and add some amount of salt and cooking up to three whistles and switch off the gas flame..
- Take a pan when the pan gets heat to add oil when oil gets heating set gas at low flame and add cumin seeds when seeds get golden add tomato puri saute it.
- Add boiled urad dal and rajma in the pan and mix it well and put the lid on the pan and a cook up to 30 minutes. in-between mix some times with help of spoon.
- During the cooking process take kasuri methi and rub it by hands and add it in a pan and mix it well and set gas at low flame.
- After 30 minutes switch off the flame add butter or cream. Serve hot and garnish with fresh coriander leaves..
