Instructions to make Dal Makhani:
- Wash & soak all the letinsils for 30 minute.Drain the water & put them in cooker with one glass of water..
- Now put all the ingredients & chopped onions & tomatoes in it.Cover with lid & give 3-4 whistles.
- Switch off the flame & let it cool down.Now again add one glass of water & mash the dal with masher..
- Again cover with lid & after 1 whistle,slow down the flame & cook for 20 minutes..
- Open the lid & add milk.Cook on low flame till dal becomes thick.Heat pure ghee in pan with cumin seeds.When aroma smells,add chopped garlic cloves. Put the tadka on the cooked dal..
- Garnish with coriander leaves & serve hot with chapati or naan.
