- {Take 1 tbsp of Garam masala.
- {Get 1 tsp of Kasuri methi.
- {Take 1 tsp of Coriander finely chopped.
Steps to make Dal Makhani:
- Soak black urad dal and rajma for 8 to 10 hours. Then whistle it for 8 to 10 times by adding water, a pinch of salt, soda and turmeric to it. Heat oil, ghee and butter in the kadhai. Then add cumin seeds and curry leaves to it. Add a pinch of asafoetida..
- Then add onion and saute it till oil separates from it and onion becomes translucent. Now add ginger garlic and chilli paste to it. Saute it for a few seconds. Now add tomato puree to it. Add all the above-mentioned all ingredients to it except fresh cream, butter and coriander to it. Add a splash of water to it..
- Stir it continuously till it becomes thick gravy and oil separates from it. Now add boiled dal to it. Mix it well. Add 1 glass water to it and again mix it. Now let it cook for 20 minutes on low to medium and medium to low flame. Off the gas and add butter, fresh cream to it. Mix it well and garnish it with coriander leaves.
