The ingredients needed to make Dal Makhani:

  1. {Get 1 cup of whole black gram.
  2. {Get 1/4 cup of rajma.

Steps to make Dal Makhani:

  1. Firstly wash and soak black gram and rajma separately over night.
  2. Take a cooker put washed and soaked black gram and rajma and add 3-4 cups of water and add chopped onion, chopped garlic and black pepper and take 4 whistles on low to medium flame.
  3. Now open the cooker and put some butter and mash dal with the help of masher..
  4. Now transfer the dal from cooker to a handi Or kadhai.
  5. Now take a pan put ghee and then add Ginger,garlic paste and stire it now add tomato puree and red chilli powder,turmeric and cook for 2-3 minutes and then pour the content of this pan into the dal in the kadhai.
  6. Now take another pan put some butter and add red chilli powder and kasuri methi and stire it and add this tadka to the dal and cook for 3-4 minutes and then switch off the flame.
  7. Now Dal Makhani is ready.
  8. Now put some butter and cream and serve it with naan or paratha.
