- Soak the black lentils and red kidney beans over night. Now add some salt and cook with 5-6 whistle in a pressure cooker..
- For Gravy: Grind Tomatoes and onions in a grinder make thick paste. Add 1tsp Oil and Ghee or butter optional in a pan heat it and add Cumin seeds, bay leaf and red chilli after that add the puree in to the pan and add spices, ginger garlic and chilli paste as well as salt and garam masala in it.
- Now give nice boil until you see oil separating, then add the boiled Dal and kidney beans to it and water for some liquid texture, lastly add some kasuri methi, coriander leaves and ghee /butter and fresh cream..
- You can serve this yummy dal with kulcha and rice.
