- Now transfer the dal and rajma to a pressure cooker with 1 teaspoon salt Now add 3.5 cup water, pressure cook on high-medium heat for 10 whistles, then lower the heat to low-medium and cook for another 10 minutes.
- In a large pot/pan, heat 2 tablespoons butter and 1 tablespoon ghee on medium heat. Once the butter melts and is hot, add the finely grated onion..
- Cook till onion turns to golden brown now add ginger garlic paste.
- Now add tomato puree and red chilli powder and garam masala.
- When tomato puree completely cook add boiled kidney beans and Black whole black lentils.
- Add water, handful of fresh coriander,cumin powder and Cook it well for 5 or 10 minutes in low flame 🔥.
- Thickness of dal Makhani is depend of your choice,now in a lil pan add butter and red chilli powder and pour it on cooked lentils.
